Every now and than I come across poetry about busking which speaks to me. Here is one such beautiful poem by Alice in Wonderland:

The Busker/ Alice in Wonderland

The world passes you by,
Sit, as you sing, smiling,
A life in each red gold tangled hair,
The cobbles hard beneath you.

Sit, as you sing, smiling,
Your guitar apricot
In the scudding sun,
In your clear blue eyes holding
All the tears ever wrung.

Sit, as you sing, smiling,
And the people pass you by,
Your voice holds in a million years,
Your heart, a million skies.

Sit, as you sing, smiling,
Forever I see you there.
The church may crumble,
But on that hill.
The man with the songs fills the air.
