Please Vote for Me

Thanks to all the wonderful people who voted for me in the previous round – I made it to the next stage in the reality TV show I am participating in: ‘NYC Soundtracks’. This is a TV show about NYC subway musicians, but it’s in the form of a competition. The winner gets to perform at Madison Square Garden or at Radio City Music Hall!

I was chosen to participate out of hundreds of buskers. 16 of us competed and 8 made it to the next round. This Sunday, August 17th the polls will be open for votes to choose the 4 buskers who will continue on in the competition. Please help me be one of them!

The voting is only on line. PLEASE vote for me and help me stay in the competition. The way to vote is between Sunday, August 17th 8pm (EST) and Monday, August 18th, 8pm to go to www.msg.com/votesoundtracks
and click on the spare change buttons (ranging from $0.25 – $1.00). Don’t worry, you will not be charged any real funds for your assistance in voting. Obviously voting with a dollar is better than with $0.25…

Ah well, you can still play *beneath* MSG, where you are truly loved and appreciated!
We cheated a little and were able to cast double votes, using two different browsers. ;^))
Your interview segment was brilliant, and I was stunned and saddened to hear of your taxi accident. I have known two dancers who had been with Martha Graham some decades ago. My friend Zoe also had suffered an accident which put an end to her dance career when a lighting rig fell on her, technician and all.
But she, like you, lived to go on to success in other wonderful art forms.
For your strength, courage and beauty, you’ll always have my vote!
